As I still have problems installing the 1.0.5 (I even tried to install it on
another PostgreSQL server - a 7.3.4 one - and get the same error message?
could my server lack some module/library?), I wanted to try upgrading from
1.0.2 at least to 1.0.4 or even 1.0.3, but it seems those versions are not
downloadable (permission denied on
http://developer.postgresql.org/~wieck/slony1/download
<http://developer.postgresql.org/~wieck/slony1/download> )...

Is it expected? Or have you been able to download those files
(slony1-1.0.3.tar.gz and slony1-1.0.4.tar.gz) and could you send them to me?

(I in fact still planned to upgrade to 1.0.5 but I need them to investiguate
on my problem)

J?r?mie.

I did (in fact, my 2 nodes - the master and the only slave - are 2
PostgreSQL servers on the same machine).

I did (my slonik script contains a CLUSTER NAME, two ADMIN CONNINFO and two
UPDATE FUNCTIONS).
I even tried to run the update functions after a brand new install of the
1.0.5.

In case it can be helpful: during the last install-from-scratch of slony
1.0.5, my PostgreSQL master was in verbose mode, but I can't find traces of
the "slonyversion" function that seems to miss (although I see the creation
of the other slony functions)...
