Yes. 8.4.0 and 8.4.2 are completely compatible: the only thing that will<BR>
change is the postgres binary (plus you will need to REINDEX any<BR>
hash indexes you have, however it's very likely you do not have any).<BR>

You really should be upgrading all your nodes to 8.4.4 right away, as<BR>
8.4.4 is the the current latest revision in the 8.4 series. Visit the<BR>
upgrade page for more details on what changed between versions:<BR>
