Hm. It can be hard, because I use Debian stable (Lenny). But I can try
to grab slony package for Debian testing (Squeeze) or backport for Lenny
if it exits.

BTW, why don't you recommend me slony 1.2.15? Is it really so obsolete?

I have never heard about slony1_ctl. Could you please write more about
that tool? Maybe any examples of usage? What advantages over slonik has
slony1_ctl utility?
