Kevin, Yes, you can do a CREATE VIEW with EXECUTE SCRIPT. But that is probably not the cause of your problem. Are you by any chance doing a SET ROLE at the beginning of the script? If so, then you must also do another SET ROLE back to the original Slony superuser before exiting. If that is not the case, then perhaps you can enlighten us by showing us the contents of the script, otherwise, it's hard to guess at the unknown.
