c) CONFIG main: slon version 1.2.9 starting up

d) FATAL  main: Cannot connect to local database - FATAL:  the database system is shutting down
 - sleep 10s

e) ERROR  Process for engine at 'E:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\Slony\slon.conf' died on startup. 

f) 2007-10-07 03:00:53 LOG:  logger shutting down

2) 10/7/2007: 3:04AM

a) FATAL  main: Cannot connect to local database - FATAL:  the database system is starting up
 - sleep 10s

b) ERROR  Process for engine at 'E:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\Slony\slon.conf' died on startup. 

c) INFO   started 0 slon engine(s) 

So, it seems that PostgreSQL (v8.2.5) and/or slony-I is causing some kind of trouble, I think?
