Hi!

I've played around with Slony-I today and followed the steps mentioned
in the documentation (2. Replicating Your First Database). I've made a
mistake in specifying the $PGBENCHUSER instead of $REPLICATIONUSER in
the node-conninfo of the slonik-script and the following error message
came up:

<stdin>:21: PGRES_FATAL_ERROR load '$libdir/xxid';  - FEHLER:  Zugriff
auf Bibliothek »$libdir/xxid« ist nicht erlaubt
<stdin>:21: Error: the extension for the xxid data type cannot be loaded
in database 'dbname=pgbench host=localhost user=pgbench'
<stdin>:21: ERROR: no admin conninfo for node 158081320

I could not find anything using my favorite search-engine which
mentioned the access rights of the user who makes the connection.
Instead there only were mentioned missing installations of slony on the
cluster-nodes or wrong versions of postgresql.

Perhaps you could add this information in the same style as the warning
in the documentation (2. Replicating Your First Database). I guess this
makes a lot of headaches go away.
