PLEASE NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a pre-release tarball of 1.2.10, for use by testers. There is a
known bug in log shipping that we expect to fix before the final relase
of 1.2.10.  The software is obviously BSD-licensed, so people are, in a
sense, free to do as they will with it, but in view of the pre-release
standpoint, we implore people NOT to release binaries of this lest
anyone should get confused that this is a final 1.2.10 release.

Aside:  xfade is the only one at present who can write in the
subdirectories under 1.2:
