It uses timestamp with timezone, which means that it'll be *consistent*.

It is a "recommended practice" to use UTC/GMT
<http://linuxfinances.info/info/requirements.html>; as with security
issues, how YOU choose to configure things is YOUR choice; some
approaches may not turn out so well, as you see...
