I've just started trying to use the slony_setup.pl in the tools
directory. It generated a slony_master_setup.sh, but when I run it I get
a usename constraint error on inserting into pg_shadow.

Is inserting into pg_shadow a short-cut around createuser? I did try to
use an existing username (the database owner) as input to
slony_setup.pl.

I guess my other question is: is anybody else using this setup script?
