That's not what I suggested. Your script is missing the lines

     node 1 admin conninfo = ...;
     node 2 admin conninfo = ...;

> wait for event (origin = 1, confirmed = 2);

select con_origin, con_received,
         max(ev_seqno) as last_event,
         max(con_seqno) as last_replicated,
         max(ev_seqno) - max(con_seqno) as behind
         from _mycluster.sl_confirm, _mycluster.sl_event
         where con_origin = ev_origin
         and con_origin = _mycluster.getLocalNodeId('_mycluster')
         group by 1, 2;

This executed on the origin of the data set (master) will give you the 
desired information.
